You will be transported via the scenic route enjoying a TOUR & KARAOKE to Fort Montague to catch a short 20 min boat ride to Rose Island. Upon arrival at the beach, you'll be greeted by the calm nature of the property. After walking up the path way, you'll be greeted by warm clear water, inviting you to rush in. You can sit back and relax on one of our beach chairs, or enjoy a nice view of the waterfront. A pig show is held, at which time you can interact with the pigs. feed them, pet them etc. After all the fun is done, you can visit the bar for a nice cool drink, or by the shack for some good Bahamian food. Come and visit us for the best beach day ever!

My sister and I had so much fun on this excursion. First of all, I loved that it came with hotel pick up, very convenient. The ride to the dock and the boat ride to Rose Island were both smooth trips with beautiful views. The facility they had on the island was excellent and serene - on a beautiful beach that we had all to ourselves as a tour group. The pig experience was about 15 min and we fed them and were able to hold them - a once in a lifetime experience! The rest of the time we were able to swim, kayak, eat, and lounge. I loved the fact that there was a bar/restaurant and plenty of seating. The lunch they served was tasty as well - chicken, fish, rice, macaroni, and salad. I do wish the complementary drink was an alcoholic one (my sister bought a rum punch that was $17) - but that's really my only "complaint." Staff was also super nice and helpful. I highly recommend this!

Amazing experience and lovely staff. Everyone is so helpful and kind! The pigs were so cute and you get to feed them and they absolutely go crazy for those apples. 10/10 recommend!

What an amazing experience and excursion. It was more than we even thought it would be. The pigs were adorable and so fun to feed and swim with! The staff were all so friendly and amazing, went out of their way to make sure each person got the full experience.

Everything went perfect. The owner met us in his personal car. The company logo was on it. We drove to the dock. Waited for the rest. Had about 30 people in total but it didn't feel over crowded at all.
Went to beautiful Rose Island, the water was beautiful turquoise shades, there's a bar on site for local drinks, a meal is included, rice, veggies, meat (no pork lol). You get one cup of apples that you feed the pigs on wood sticks. No more since they don't want to be overfed with next groups coming. Be careful, pigs are hungry and will chop on anything. About 20-30 minutes they run around you being fed, taking pictures, picking the small ones up. After that just chill and relax on the beach or the pier or the bar, take pictures, lounge,
After that 30 minute boat ride back with scenic views and bus ride to your pickup point.
Shout out to my man Jungle, the owner that privately picked us up. Because we had some time left over before getting back on cruise, and made friends with Jungle, he gave us a small mini tour. We visited queens staircase, rum distillery, organic tea and sauce shop, got some magnets away from tourist trap cruise port. All in an hour.
We booked the tour late night the day before. Jungle was very responsive early in the morning. We walked to the wrong pickup location only a few blocks away but he was close and picked up on my phone call right away and we met up without a hitch.
Overall amazing experience, highly recommend. Just be nice. Again a huge thanks to Jungle who gave us a great experience for the short time we had due to cruise time.

It was a fun experience! The food was really good the one the provided. We wish we had a chance to kayak but because of the waves we weren’t able to. Overall we had a good time with the pigs. You get 15-20 mins to interact with the pigs

Had a great time on the tour, hotel pick up was very convenient and all the staff are very friendly.
There’s a possibility you will get sh1t on by a pig but that’s what you’re paying for. I was informed it’s good luck so I’ll update this with any luck I have.

We had originally booked an all day excursion with pigs and it kept getting canceled. But we loved this tour so much! It was a small group, super relaxed, clean, amazing experience. Beautiful views relaxing.

This was a great experience and a lot of fun. We were very grateful when the team offered this as an alternative located right on Nassau since the winds were too strong for us to take the boat to our original excursion. The staff were extremely friendly and made sure each person got the full experience of swimming and feeding the pigs.

The employees on the boat, the employees on Rose Island were all friendly and very helpful. The pigs were awesome. Panda and little baby harper. I got to hold the baby. Rose Island is beautiful. Bluest water I have ever seen. We had so much fun feeding the pigs.

10/10 would recommend! Our boat was late for docking so it caused the pickup to be delayed but the bus driver was super friendly! The boat ride over to the island was smooth and enjoyable with music. It was about a 35 minute boat ride. The water was beautiful and the island itself was awesome. The pigs were adorable, they give you apples to feed them and you get to hold them. We got to interact with them for about 20 minutes. The food was great! I got the chicken and my hubby got the fish (best fish I've had, super flavorful). The rum punch was strong!!! They had seating and beach beds. Everything was great. I think there was some confusion with the group we were with on the pigs. These pigs are held in captivity and released for interactions just in case others were wondering the same thing.

It was a great last-minute trip. The only thing I didn't like was that the pigs didn't really get in the water because so many of the guests chose not to get in the water. That made the pigs stay on the shore. It would have been a better excursion if getting in the water could have been encouraged by the staff.

I booked this for my boyfriend’s birthday and we had an amazing experience!! The staff and pigs were so friendly we had such a good time. Dawson also made it a point to make sure we were enjoying ourselves.

Great experience!! The guys who took us from j&s were awesome! Picked us up and dropped us off from the hotel which was included in the total price. Set up a lunch buffet at the island once we arrived. They have a bar and give you time to relax as well.

Dawson was awesome!!
The crew, the boat ride to the island, the Food was good and filling. The lounge chairs, the umbrellas, the kitchen, the bar, ping-pong table, kayaking, and best of all the group was roughly only 50 people.
The pigs are nice and domesticated and we’re available for pictures, but did not swim in the water or sit on their back legs for pictures with us.
Overall, I recommend this trip and we’ll definitely do this again and still with my family JimJim.

Pick up from our hotel was on time, the driver needs a microphone, couldn’t hear him very well. The boat ride over to Rose I was about 25 mins. The lunch was good. Cute little swim area and bar. Not very many pigs though. No babies ☹️. The staff was excellent besides two staff members at the end on the boat ride back were arguing. Not sure if they were boyfriend and girlfriend? Overall experience I would give it a 7/10.
Well organized alternative to the Exumas

Fun experience and well organized. The boat ride was beautiful, the bar area was great, the food was tasty, and the staff was very nice. However the beach was very small, the pigs didn’t really get in the water, and there were a lot of other people. Also there was not much for preteens to do as they didn’t have the kayaking and paddle boarding available. The adults all said they would do it again but the kids said it was a 5 out of 10.

The service is really good; the hosts are super nice; the amenities on rose islands are also great. The pigs are well trained and behaved well with humans. What i didn't like is what was listed as offered was actually not free except for lunch (standard food) and the ginger beer that complimented it so beware.

The boat ride was a bit long but nice and smooth, it was beautiful to enjoy the weather and see the blue water. The island amenities were surprisingly very clean (bathroom) and easily accessible. Plenty of seating to enjoy a meal or sun bathe. There were close to 15-20 hungry pigs that ran out to eat and head into the water. They provided cup of fruit to feed them. There was a volleyball court, kayaks, and snorkeling gear provided. I recommend getting the clear bottom kayak to enjoy but there is one ONE of them so you will need to jump on that when it is available. The entire excursion was a bit pricey but the kids enjoyed it and I would do it again.
