This activity was amazing and a highlight of our vacation. The crew we had were the absolute best! They were very professional and really made it a fun experience for all! They made everyone feel welcomed, and it seemed like our boat was having the most fun of the other boats docked at Rose Island beach. The snorkeling is amazing too and the water is so clear you can see a lot of colorful coral and fish. I highly recommend Born Free Charters and will be doing this again when we come to the Bahamas.

Wonderful day on the water with Captain Bo-Bo and Freddie on the Sitting Pretty. We did some fishing (one of our group caught a nice one) and then snorkeling with turtles and so many fish! They knew the best spots to stop and the boat was really comfortable with a nice shade canopy. Great conversations with Freddie learning about the Bahamas was an added bonus. Thank you guys!!!
A Fun Day Fishing!

Captain Willie and his son provided a fun day of fishing when we visited the Bahamas! We caught some big fish, which is all luck I know, but they kept the boat clean and always had poles in the water. It was fun stopping at Footprints for lunch, and the food there was delicious! Thanks for the memorable day! The best part was crossing off my first Barracuda off of my bucket list!
The best boating experience in Nassau!

We had such an amazing day on the boat! Our captain was on-time, friendly and was there to make our day enjoyable. Everything about the day was perfect, from the turtle sightings to the beach, and even lunch on Rose Island. We travelled with 4 young kids and we felt very safe on the water. Our experience with Born Free exceeded our expectations and will plan future trips!

Half day fishing charter

We booked a half day fishing charter as something fun and new to experience. We are not experienced at fishing, but thought a new experience would be fun.
The boat was clean and well kept. We chartered the Freestyle (38ft) for half day to do some fishing.
They initially started with “deep sea fishing” as we made our way to more shallow waters to do some reef fishing. We caught two barracuda (which we cannot eat), but it was still fun. In the shallow waters we caught many fish (yellow snapper, groupers, grunt and trigger fish).
The reason I am giving them a 3 star is that I found Cleo (staff on the boat) was not very enthusiastic or helpful. He was actually quite rude to me. When he asked me if I knew how to cast and I said no he mumbled “Jesus Christ”. He continued to talk down to me instead of be helpful and teach. We booked this tour to learn something new and we were hoping they’d be happy to teach, but that was not the case. Given the money we paid, I don’t think that this behaviour is acceptable.
